When did it become OK to blame others for your choices, and not yourself?

If a bar, and the employees of that bar are held responsible for a person drinking to much, getting into their car, and then driving away, should a fast food chain and its 14 year old McPloyees also be held responsible for serving a fat ass a hamburger, and then him having a heart attack?

It depends, does said fatass have rich parents that can afford 60k+ membership, plus 10k yearly membership fees. Does this fatass also have an expensive car yet lack the common sense and pocket money for a cab? Math was never my strong suit but it seems (whips out calculator), 31 drinks, divided by 4 people over 3 hours = 2.5 drinks an hour per person. Does not seem like over serving to me. I quess having money and pull makes it ok to blame others for bad choices.
