Update

So, its been awhile, and a whole bunch of stuff has happened that I wont get to much into. I went to Bermuda, rode on a boat, drove the boat, got off in Halifax, got drunk in Kingston a few times, nothing really out of the ordinary.

I am buying a van...SHUT UP. Its a 2005 Ford Freestar SEL. Its got everything Bre and I need right now, and once we start breeding, it will work well for the kids and dogs, and all that shit. Once I am done a tour, I will go buy a truck. Its a toss up between the F-150 Supercrew and the Tundra.

Today is Rob's bday, we all got drunk last night, and today are going for Sushi.

I need to do an e-test on the car today, or tomorrow, or very soon!

Dakota ate her leash. The retard actually sat there in her room, chewing on, and eating a good portion of, her leash. Yes, she was fed, she just did it to kill time. Fucking dog!

I am getting tired of living in this appartment. Its a nice enough place, and we have enough room, but, taking the dogs outside every few hours, up and down the stairs is starting to get old!
Bre and I went in to look at getting a mortgage, and buying a house, turns out when you have alot od debt like I do, the banks tend to not give you much. I was approved for 103000, saying I could only afford a monthly payment of $503, which is $250 less then what I pay in rent. In Kingston, 103000 will get me a lovely little shack, in a swamp, with no driveway, and a crazy cat lady neighbour! So, we are thinking of moving into the PMQ's on base. Its only about $150 more per month, and if we can find someone to move in with us, to say a 3 or 4 bedroom unit (HINT to anyone looking to move out) and share the rent, it could actually end up being cheaper then what we pay now, and we would have a yard for the dogs! No more freezing my ass off with them in the winter...they can freeze by themselves!

I am back at CFSCE at the end of the month to finish a course, then we start IBTS training again. Also, I will be 25 soon...lower insurance rates here I come!

Cheers,

-Russ

When did it become OK to blame others for your choices, and not yourself?

If a bar, and the employees of that bar are held responsible for a person drinking to much, getting into their car, and then driving away, should a fast food chain and its 14 year old McPloyees also be held responsible for serving a fat ass a hamburger, and then him having a heart attack?

Blogging Live, and Fat People

So, I was reading an old issue of Time at the MIR on Thursday. I was there for more needles, not as a commando! After you get the needles you have to sit there and wait 15 minutes before you can leave, in case you have some horrid reaction to the drugs. Anyway, back to Time. It was following John McCain, and his rise to the top of the republican party. Right at the end of the story, it talked about the up coming republican convention, and all the coverage Time was going to have, they even have a "live blogger" from the convention floor...a fucking "live blogger."

Apparently Time Magazine is going to pay some guy to just sit there, and write a new post every 2-5 minutes about what he sees. With the innovation of Live TV, I see this as a totally pointless thing. I will see what this guy is blogging about before he even starts to type, and by the time he posts, and I refresh my window, something far better will have already happened. Why the hell would anyone pay someone to be a "live blogger?"

Anyway, on to fat people. Some of you may know my stance on fat people, for those that don't, I hate them! Now, I am not talking about the couple pounds overweight (cause I am), or the chubby but still cute, no, I am talking about the can't function in the world because they can't put down the fucking fork kind of fat people. The kind that drain health care resources because they have a horrible "disease" known only as "Icaneatawholecakeinonebiteitis." My main reason for hating them is that its not that hard to get out and do some sort of exercise on a daily basis. If you have a schedule that doesn't allow for daily exercise, then get out a couple times a week, and reduce your intake. I can't stand these people that think they deserve things because they are "sick" (fat and eat alot, and lazy). Now, I know there are actual medical conditions that cause people to gain weight, and its beyond there control, but no way in hell do all of these fat lazy basterds have it...most of them just LOVE food! The reason for this rant on fat people is something I read in the paper today. The Canadian gov't has recognized obeisity as a disease (I say its a symptom of applying fork to mouth a couple to many times, but, oh well) as becasue its a disease, these poor fat people are entitled to certian things. One of these things is a free 2nd seat on a plane so that they will have enough room for thier fatness! Thats right, all airlines operating in Canada must provide, on request of said fat ass, a FREE 2nd seat. So, now that shamu gets 2 for 1 seating, those of us who stay in a shape other then ROUND are going to have to pay more for our seating, cause you and I both know that the airline isn't going to eat the cost of that 2nd seat...no pun intended. So, this is why I hate fat people! Also, talks in the states about a "fat tax." I dont know alot about it, but from what I understand, its an additional $0.10 on every non-healthy item to be used to ofset the rising social cost of fatassery, aka obesity.

Okay, enough bitching! I am playing hockey tonight at the base rink. Rob and I play on a "c" league team, but, we might get booted up to "b" soon...we dont really know since every time we were supposed to play with the "c" league, no one botherd to show up. Might be heading down to Raxx after the game for a brew or two, and Sunday will be all about relaxing!

Also, a certain person at work, who from now on will be known as Wonder Cpl blew things up, and now I have to write a bloody memo asking to get off work 2 hours early next Friday. I can't wait for the real tech's to come back to work next week, and things can start running as per normal again.

Thats all for now, Irwin out.

Tis the season...for WOLRD JUNIOR HOCKEY!!!

Welcome! Hope everyone had a Happy Jesus Day, and the Fat B&E expert brought you what you wanted...and snow tires too!

Bre and I spent the xmas week in Barrie with my family. It was nice, and I enjoyed seeing my family and friends in Barrie. I also enjoyed the spinach dip, and shrimp! My folks were very generous this year, giving Bre and I some very nice gifts, but, I would have to say my favorite was the globe my brother got for me. He and I were in Home Sense like 3 months ago, just looking at the random stuff they have in there...trying on the armour sets, and jumping out at people, when I noticed this globe, and mentioned I liked it. Well, when I left to come back to Kingston, he went back and got it for me, it was very thoughtful, and unexpected, and its perfect!

I told Bre that she had no presents at my house, and that the gift exchange her and I did when she got back from Mexico was it. Well, I surprised her with a pearl necklace...and real one you perverts, and a set of pearl earings. She loved them...thanks Hoover!

I went out on boxing day to try and find hockey gear. I had only skates, socks, and a jersey, and I want to start playing in January, so, I needed more gear. I went to National at 0700, expecting a big line. No one else showed up till 0745, and by 0800 when they opened, there was only 3 of us in line, and no one near my size, so, I knew they were not there for the same gear as me. I was able to get everything I needed for $265. I didnt get a helmet there, because even with the sale, they wanted way to much. I picked one up at Canadian Tire in Kingston for $37 with cage. I am now ready to start playing again, and I can't wait! I am signed up for a B league right now, and I think I need to switch to a C league. I can still skate, and have a pretty decent shot with out gloves on, but, its been 8 years since I have played with gear, and I dont see it working out to well right off the start. One thing is sure, it will be alot of fun, and good PT!

I want Sushi before I go back to work next week, but, I refuse to go back to Sappura any time soon. Horrid service, so I never tip...NEVER. Well, I guess no one else does either, beacuse they have started adding a tip to the bill. No notice about it, not written on the menu, just, BAM, tip me! Losers. So, if anyone knows of another place, please, let me know.

I realized something the other day. As much as I enjoy the time off work, the family, and friends, the thing I like most about this time of year, is World Junior Hockey! Canada has won gold 5 years in a row, and this year looks promising as well. 8-1 against Czeh, and a 15-0 blowout against Borat. Now, I know neither of these teams are real hockey powerhouses, and would likely have trouble competing in the CFB KINGSTON A League, but still, the fast hands, and good stick handling of Canada makes me think that when they finally play a real team on Wednesday, that they will do pretty well!

Irwin out.

Stupid Snow

Welcome to my blog...my intention is to eventually have some retarded news agency do all its "research" by reading my blog on the news...instead of actually checking facts, and doing the work themselves. So, with that in mind...A man in South America has been living on an all onion diet for the past 7 years! Remember, when FOX "News" reports on that, you heard it here first!

So, Bre and I had planned to drive back to Barrie today, to spend Christmas with my family. We planned on leaving around 0900 this morning, but due to the large amounts of alcohol drank last night, we didn't end up rolling out of bed until 0945. We finally got moving, and cleaned up the apartment, and had the car packed for 1115. Just as we were driving off base, it started to snow pretty bad here, and I got a call from a friend in Barrie who said the roads were a right off, and travel today was probably not a good idea. So, we turned around, and went back to bed.

We woke up agian around 1600, and it was a blizzard out! The dog chains we have outside were completely barried, and I had to dig them out before the poor dogs could go out, and Miko jumped into a snow bank, and totally dissapeard! She came out about 5 feet from where she went in, covered in snow, looked like a MINI polar bear.

Its still snowing pretty good here, but hopefully it will stop over night, and we can head to Barrie tomorrow.

More to follow on that, thanks for stopping by,

-Russ
